Today despite all the medical information and health campaigns, people still abuse their bodies. Excessive eating, lack of exercise, smoking and alcohol are still major abuse to health

To live life to the full, to be physically fit with the energy and stamina to cope with the stresses of everyday life it is paramount to pay attention to your health.

When you are in good physical condition, your mind is more alert, your concentration is stronger and your imagination is at its peak. When your body is enjoying peak fitness you are more likely to have the motivation and determination to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals and be successful.

Check out your Physical Fitness

    • Do you perform any type of exercise?
    • Do you make a point of using the stairs even when there is an elevator available?
    • Do you practise any deep breathing?
    • Do you do yoga?
    • Do you walk for at least 30 minutes 3 times per week?
    • Do you do any weight training?
    • Do you play golf?
    • Do you play tennis?
    • Do you swim?
    • Do you jog?
    • Do you belong to a gym?

Check out your Daily Diet

    • Do you drink at least 8 glasses of water each day?
    • Do you trim away all the visible fat from meat before you cook it?
    • Do you eat take away as little as possible?
    • When you eat breakfast cereal do you make a conscious effort to have a high-fibre variety in preference to one that is sugar coated?
    • Do you read the label checking for high fat, high carbohydrate content?
    • Do you eat food labelled low glycemic?
    • Do you always check food packaging for the expiry date or the freshness of the food before you start to prepare a meal?
    • Do you eat wholemeal or multi grain bread
    • Do you eat wholemeal pasta?
    • Do you make a conscious effort to eat foods that help you to keep your body weight under control and maintain a healthy lifestyle?
    • Are you mindful of meal portion control?

If you find that you have exercised little self -control with regards to your diet it is never too late to remedy the situation.
